ONDEMAND AVAILABLE TILL August 2nd 2023 11:59 AEST
Our clinic director/principal speech pathologist Frances Brennan will be presenting at the 2023 Yellow Ladybugs Conference (May 2nd-4th) – which promises to deliver captivating, life changing and memorable professional and life learning opportunities. This is a standout conference – and proudly neuro-affirming, autistic led, and uses a strengths based, trauma informed lens.
Teachers, parents, allied health professionals, and autistic individuals will gain a better understanding on how to support the learning and wellbeing needs of autistic girls, teens and gender diverse students, who often have internalised or hidden needs.
The conferences have a strong emphasis on lived autistic experience. Therefore, we have ensured the selection of our speakers contains the majority who identify as autistic, including teachers, psychologists, and allied health professionals.
Each speaker will share their experience, insights, and strategies to support and understand autistic students.
Frances will be speaking for two segments at the conference. She will be part of an online panel on day 1 about ‘Supporting Autistic Tweens’ and will be speaking again, in person, on day 3 about the value of truly neurodiverse therapy.
